Experience an unforgettable evening of music at the next presentation of our Cathedral Concert Series on Wednesday, June 10! We are thrilled to welcome Christopher Pluntke, an acclaimed organist and Music Director at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Palo Alto, California, who will showcase the majestic Flentrop gallery organ.

 

Whether you are a regular at Mass or a visitor to the Cathedral, this inspiring concert promises to delight all who attend. His musical foundation began in 1996 under the instruction of Thorsten Göbel, the current Regional Church Music Director in Braunschweig, Germany. He went on to pursue parallel interests in Würzburg, graduating in music theory from the Hochschule für Musik in 2007 while concurrently studying computer science at the Universität Würzburg.

After completing his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at University College London, he relocated to California. Today, he successfully balances his software engineering careeer with his active musical pursuits. Alongside his church leadership, he is an accomplished conductor, primarily working with the chamber choir Ensemble Continuo, which he founded in 2023.
