Spiritual Life
Faith and Fitness
In the book of 1 Corinthians, Paul reminds us that our bodies are considered temples of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it is our responsibility to glorify God through our bodies. The Faith and Fitness Ministry, led by Father Louis Cameli and Michele Sotak, aims to educate and motivate individuals to appreciate the gift our bodies and health, and the significance of stewardship. The ministry emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balance of physical, spiritual and mental health. By nurturing our physical selves through exercise, we can become more holy and better servants of Christ and others. The Faith and Fitness Ministry launched in December 2023 with significant popularity. An extension of the ministry, “Faith & Fitness in your Forties & Fifties”, was launched in September 2024 on the feast day of Our Lady of Good Health. This program provides an essential service to people of all ages who aspire to achieve a balance in their wellbeing and to do God’s mission for their lives well. Interested in joining?
