Dr. Thomas Fielding, Director of Music, Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist
A graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs’ School of Music, Dr. Fielding has taken first prize at the national Arthur Poister performance competitions and played recitals throughout England and the Netherlands, including two appearances at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

St. Cecilia Sing Along
In celebration of the Jubilee Year of Hope and in conjunction with the Jubilee Year Day of Choirs, we celebrate the influence of music in liturgy and honor the patron saint of Music, St. Cecilia by engaging in a community of song. Co-sponsored by NPM Chicago Chapter.

Natasha Stojanovska, pianist
Mini Concert featuring Dr. Natasha Stojanovska, pianist on the Steinway grand piano. Macedonian concert pianist, composer, and educator Dr. Natasha Stojanovska has established herself as a dynamic international artist, seamlessly bridging her Eastern European musical heritage with contemporary classical traditions. Her debut recording, Uncommon Voices (Navona Records), dedicated to women composers from Eastern Europe, was praised for its artistry and cultural significance. Building on this success, her forthcoming album, Uncommon Voices, Part II: American Women Composers, supported by a grant from the Musicians Club of Women in Chicago, continues her mission to amplify underrepresented voices in classical music.

Lynn Trapp, Organist
Since 2015 Dr. Lynn Trapp has served as Director of Liturgy & Music at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baltimore where he recently led the installation of a large new pipe organ built by Peragallo Organ Company.   He is an active organ recitalist, has more than 100 compositions held by major publishers, and since 1997 as co-director of the American Pilgrimage Choir has led performance tours to numerous European countries and the Holy Land.  He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (BM), University of Notre Dame (MM), and after beginning doctoral work at the Eastman School of Music completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Kansas.   www.lynntrapp.com

Seth Hobi, Baritone
Mini Concert featuring Seth, a member of the Schola Cantorum, accompanied by David C. Jonies, Director of Music & Organist, Holy Name Cathedral. Seth has appeared as a soloist and ensemble singer throughout North America and Europe with prominent ensembles such as the Boston Early Music Festival, Apollo’s Fire, and the JSB Ensemble. Mr. Hobi is currently pursuing a Master of Sacred Music Degree in Voice from the University of Notre Dame.

Greg Hartmann, pianist
Mini concert featuring pianist Greg Hartmann, who is a rising star in the classical music world, with performances in recent seasons across America and Europe. Greg holds an Artist Diploma from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as well as a doctorate in piano from the City University of New York. Greg has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions. He has performed concerti with the New Albany Symphony Orchestra, Rochester Symphony, Lakeshore Wind Ensemble, Concord Chamber Orchestra, and Waukesha Area Chamber Orchestra.

Christina Bernardoni, Mezzo-Soprano and Daniel Wilson, Tenor
Mini Concert featuring Christina and Daniel, members of the Schola Cantorum, accompanied by David C. Jonies, Director of Music & Organist.

This October, Christina will premiere a new work entitled Kinderstucke as part of the Ear Taxi Festival, and in November will premiere a children’s opera entitled A Coyote Solstice Tale as part of the Writers’ Bloc New Plays Festival. Additionally, Christina is the recipient of the American Prize for Professional Women in Opera and the London Opera Guild.

Tenor Daniel Wilson shares his love of music through expressive and heartfelt performances. He has sung in opera, concert, and sacred settings across the Chicago area. Audiences enjoy the warmth and emotion he brings to every piece.

Christopher Pluntke, Organist
Christopher Pluntke is music director and organist at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Palo Alto. He holds a degree in music education from the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, Germany, and has 25 years of experience leading vocal ensembles, period instrument groups, and performing as organist, pianist and continuo player.

Tenor Daniel Wilson shares his love of music through expressive and heartfelt performances. He has sung in opera, concert, and sacred settings across the Chicago area. Audiences enjoy the warmth and emotion he brings to every piece.
