What is the Retreat?
This retreat is a chance to rest, pray, and immerse yourself in the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. It’s an opportunity to experience His peace and grace amidst life’s busyness, whether you’re feeling stressed, anxious, or simply seeking a deeper connection with God.
The Opportunity
- Enjoy quiet time for personal prayer, reflection, and rest
- Attend Mass on Saturday
- Participate in Eucharistic Adoration
- Have a Saturday lunch
- Heard to three spiritual speakers.
- Connect with other young adults on a journey to deepen your relationship with God
- Experience a retreat designed to offer rest and space to listen to God without overwhelming programming

- For young adults ages 18-39
- Early Registration: $25 until Monday, January 5
- Normal Registration: $35
- Deadline to Register: Sunday, February 2
- Doors open at 9:30am
The Agenda
John Mark Comer’s “The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry” reveals that “Hurry is the great enemy of spiritual life in our day. You must ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. Hurry is not of the devil; hurry is the devil.” This insight emphasizes how busyness can disconnect us from God.
Talk 1: Fr. Tim
Identifies various forms of hurriedness and their impact on spiritual life.
Talk 2: Sister Alicia
Provides strategies to slow down, find healing through adoration, and develop an unhurried heart.
Talk 3: Fr. Pat
Draws on the road to Emmaus to discuss remaining with the Lord and embracing the Sabbath in a busy world.
