Holy Name Cathedral Parish Mission

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday – March 23-25

This year’s theme: Pilgrims of Hope: A Biblical Reflection on Jubilee as a Time of Restoration, Freedom and Renewal

Join Us for our Lenten Parish Mission!

Our Lenten Parish Mission will be March 23 and 25 in the Cathedral. Sr. Barbara Reid, the President of Catholic Theological Union, will be our speaker in our two-night Mission in the Cathedral. She will reflect on the biblical notion of Jubilee as a time of restoration, freedom, and grace-filled renewal. She will reflect on examples of our ancestors in faith who attempted to right past wrongs and create an equitable society through jubilee practices. Their witness and other contemporary examples can guide us to be pilgrims of hope in our day.

Sunday, March 23: Help in HNC’s Annual Lenten Service Project

Sunday, March 23 at 5:00pm in the Cafeteria. Join our Care Package Program for our Annual Lenten Service Project. The Holy Name Service Ministries and our “Blessings” group invites you to join us to assemble items that will be distributed to our underprivileged students and many neighbors living in poverty and
suffering homelessness, prior to the Lenten mission talk. Afterwards, we
will take the packages and go into our many streets to share these items
with our neighbors in need.
