YA – Programs & Activities
Our Social, Service and Spiritual Committees develop a wide range of events for young adults in their 20s and 30s. We host our own events and team up with other Catholic organizations to put on events around the city.
Our events are posted in our Facebook page, our newsletter and in the bulletin. All young adults are welcome!

Start your weekend with friends serving a meal to those in need! Volunteer with 10-20 other young adults at Catholic Charities after work on Friday. You will provide hope and a warm meal to over 120 struggling Chicagoans. Continue to build friendships after volunteering, as some of us head to a local restaurant for end-of-the-week unwinding.
Big Shoulders Give Back Days:
Volunteer with fellow young adults to paint, clean, move furniture and more to help keep a nearby Catholic School in shape for its students and staff. Check bulletin, facebook, and newsletter for announcement of location and date. On monthly service dates, we meet on the front steps of Holy Name Cathedral @ 8:20 a.m. and then carpool over to project site together @ 8:30 a.m.
