What is Heart of Holy Name?

This is the Cathedral’s major fundraising event of the year.  Proceeds from the event go to Holy Name Cathedral’s mission and ministries including our liturgies and music, evangelization programs, service ministries and fellowship opportunities.

Is this the Gala?

Similar to the Gala, this is the Cathedral’s major fundraising event of the year.

But based on feedback from parishioners and staff including those that led the Gala in recent years, this year’s event is slightly different from the Gala. We will have reserved seating for sponsors as well as plenty of open seating so everyone can move around throughout the evening. There will be a variety of table sizes just right for your guests, family, and friends.

How do I reserve tickets?

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available online – just click here:  or using the QR code in the bulletin, website and poster in the Cathedral.  Additionally, invitations were mailed and include a response card and return envelope. RSVP no later than Friday, March 29, 2024

What are the sponsorship opportunities?

$25,000 Rector’s Sponsor

Priority seating for ten; special recognition at the event; recognition in program book and Cathedral communications.

$10,000 Loving Sponsor

Priority seating for eight; recognition at the event, in the program book and Cathedral communications.

$5,000 Compassionate Sponsor

Priority seating for six; recognition in the program book and Cathedral communications.

$2,500 Devoted Sponsor

Four tickets; recognition in program book and Cathedral communications.

$1,000 Friend of HNC Sponsor

Two tickets; recognition in Cathedral communications.

Sponsors can be recognized by individual or company name or in honor or memory of someone. Deadline to be included in the program book is March 22.  

Is my ticket tax deductible?

The tax deductible portion per ticket is $150.00.

Is parking available?

Public parking available at Grant Park North Garage, Grant Park South Garage, and Millennium Park Garage.

Free parking available at the Cathedral’s lot at 14 W Superior St.  Complimentary shuttle bus service from Holy Name Cathedral to the venue departs promptly at 5:30pm.  Return service at 10pm and 11pm.

What awards are being presented?

At the event, we will be presenting the inaugural:

Heart of Holy Name Award to Father John Boivin honors an individual or couple who exemplify the spirit of our faith community as they live out the parish vision:  “A World in Communion with Jesus Christ.” Fr. Boivin is being honored for his more than 35 years of service to Holy Name Cathedral.
