Parish Tea – Friends of Fr. Augustus Tolton

September 15, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

The Friends of Fr. Augustus Tolton

                            Invite you to . . .

                       . . . is it a Parish Tea?

. . . is it a showcase of parish organizations and ministries?

. . . is it a volunteer opportunity?

The answer to all 3 is YES!

Join us on Sunday, September 15 from 10am to 2pm in our parish center for this free of charge event.

In the tradition of a Parish Tea, all of our Holy Name ministries and organizations will have a table                highlighting their activities for the next 12 months. In addition, each one will have a treat for you to nibble on as you walk from table to table. When you have completed your walk through, enjoy a cup of tea, a glass of frappe and some finger sandwiches and desserts.

You will have a chance to meet members from Parish Pastoral Council, Faith Formation Commission, Human Concerns Commission, Parish Life Commission, Liturgy Council, Gala and Stewardship, ACT II, Cathedral Filipino Network, Faith Formation Ministry, Knights of Columbus, Ministry of Care, and Young Adult Ministry. And a highlight is to learn more about the Chicago priest, the Venerable Fr. Augustus Tolton, the first African American priest in the United States who is a candidate for sainthood.

Please accept this invitation and see what makes Holy Name not only a Cathedral but a vibrant parish! And consider joining one of these activities!
