Ken Henriksen is an administrator in the Improving Health Outcomes area at the American Medical Association working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on a national initiative to increase awareness among physicians and clinical care teams on how to treat patients with pre-diabetes– a condition which progresses to development of type 2 diabetes.
Roxanne Finegan is a register nurse and certified diabetes educator at Amita Health – Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. She works with patients in both inpatient and outpatient areas of the hospital to address diabetes self-management and diabetes prevention.
